Prof. Abiodun Suleiman Momodu is a Research Professor and became the Director of the Centre for Energy Research and Development (CERD), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife on 1 August 2025. He has over 20 years of experience working at the intersection of energy, climate change, and sustainable development in Nigeria and across West Africa. He is widely recognised for pioneering the use of system dynamics modelling to understand and improve electricity systems, low-carbon strategies, and renewable energy adoption.
He hold a B.Sc (Honors) (1988) in Agricultural Engineering from the university of maiduguri and an M.Sc (2006) and Ph.D (2012) in Technology Management from Obafemi Awolowo University…..
